I am completely lost when it comes to picking out the ceremony music. I’m not really into the classic music. When a Bride walks down the aisle, does the music have to be instrumental, or could it be the actual song? Does anyone have any suggestions?

You could do any kind of music really. I’ve seen brides with just instrumental, I’ve also seen brides with modern songs that have words. What genres do you like?

I walked down to Eastmountainsouth So Are You To Me… played on the piano by a friend and sang by another friend…. it was GREAT!!!!
We were able to get them to play all of the ceremony music but you could definitely just go with the song on a CD… you just have to time it out =)

So glad you brought this up! I want more contemporary music, but wasn’t sure if I could use songs with the words in them. Since I was confused, I was leaning more towards Canon in D. At her wedding, Maid/Matron of Honor C walked down the aisle to an Enya song, and I really liked it.

There are alot of brides that walk down to lyrical songs these days…. or even epic movie themes…. pretty much whatever you want!
When I heard my song I knew that’s what I wanted to convey my Darling Husband was to me w/o being over the top “my everything” lol….. that and when he listened to it he said he was gonna cry watching me walk in to that… and he did! tehe
You pick what you feel is right for you 😉
