What are you ladies having for music during your ceremony?
For the Wedding Processional I’ve decided on:
Jesu, Joy of Man’s Desiring (Bridal party walking in)
Canon in D (When I walk down the aisle)
However, I can’t decide on the Prelude music or what should be played during the seating of our mothers. I really like the song “Ave Maria” but it was recently played at my Fiance’s grandmothers funeral, so I don’t want to have it played.
Any suggestions as to walk out of the church to?

We’re having a gospel choir (they’re beautiful singers and not too over-the top!) and so am walking out of the church to ‘Oh Happy Day’ as it’s uplifting and so a great song to suit the mood of the end of the ceremony.

@Jac: You might consider using a different version of “Ave Maria.” I’m assuming it was the Schubert that was used at the funeral (it’s the most popular version), but there are also versions by Bach (also very popular, so it would be familiar to most of your guests), Biebl, and Victoria.
This other thread has a lot of music people have posted from Catholic wedding masses, which could help you: http://boards.weddingbee.com/topic/catholic-wedding-music-1
