@c_cat:  Canon in D is pretty ridiculously easy to play on the cello (I did this in high school all the time for intermission music), so you could probably consider getting younger musicians if you wanted to have children at your wedding.  I personally love Pan’s Lullaby (this might be a bit dark for other people’s tastes though); but if you like canon in D, you might want to check out the Brandenburg Concertos or other baroque music, I think a lot of them have been arranged for a small string group.  Are you having just 1 violin and 1 cello?
