I am working on my ceremony timeline and am stuck on the amount of time needed for each group. My fiance wants to walk in with his 3 groomsmen after the parents are seated and before the bridesmaids walk in. About how long should each song be for the parents, groomsmen, bridesmaids, and bride.
I don’t want to have a song go too long and there be the awkward wait for the next group but I want to give enough time so people are not rushed down the aisle.

It depends entirely how far each group has to walk.
For example, at my wedding, the groomsmen had to walk about 15 feet. But at my brother’s wedding, they had to walk probably 200 feet. So obviously, the song they chose needed to be longer than the one we chose.
That’s why it’s great to have someone manning your music that can fade it in & out, if you can.

@mrsjesse: Thanks Mrs Jesse! My fiance has a particular clip of a song that he wants to play that is roughly 2 minutes long. I think our aisle from door to the steps is about 55 ft long. With 3 groomsmen I think 2 minutes should be plently of time without being too long, right?
