I’ve always wanted to incorporate the song Hard To Concentrate by The Red Hot Chili Peppers into our ceremony. It means a lot to my fiance and I and when we heard it for the first time we’ve put it in the back of our heads for our future wedding. I just don’t know how to make it work with the beat. Any suggestions?

I LOVE this song! FI and I have been thinking for a year of how to incorporate this song into our wedding because it’s so special to us. Did you think of anything? We want it to be our first dance but it’s a hard song to dance to. The DJ can slow it down, though, so I’m going to try that and see how that sounds. You can also get an instrumental version for your ceremony if you want. Let me know how it works out. 🙂

Use it as a processional or recessional. We let our wedding party walk down the aisle however they wanted, which ended up in some really memorable moments! So there was no need for a walkable beat.
Our processional was “Swan Dive” by Sister Hazel and our recessional was “Superman Theme” by John Williams. Neither had beats that were easy to dance to or walk to, but it didn’t end up mattering.

@WonderTwin: Definitely – don’t worry about the beat just pick what you like!
My processional was Dave Matthew’s One Sweet World (the las vegas version), our recessional was an acoustic version of Times Like These by the Foo Fighters. It was awesome to have our own personal touch on it!
