    I have been to weddings with both instrumental and vocal processionals as long as the vocals will not take away from peoples attention on you I don’t think it will matter either way

    I’m a musician, so naturally I’m a music snob.  I’m a fan of ceremony music being supportive and “background” – the last thing I want is for people to be listening to a singer or singers at my ceremony rather than focusing on me and my FI/DH’s love!…just my opinion though!

    @pengoala:  Agreed.  I am a musician as well.  I feel like the singing should take place at another point in the ceremony where the focus can be on the singing.
