distantlover2016:  I couldn’t get the song list to boot and paste right. But the song titles and artist are after each # sign. Hope this helps

The one i’ve heard a few times is the Marriage Prayer by John Waller, maybe that would work?

Hi!! I was wondering if you had already asked your minister/priest… does secular music include ALL non-religious music? Like would they allow classical music, without lyrics? I am looking for a church for our ceremony, and it seems all of them have this policy. I can picture the wedding without some of the love songs I had pictured…but I am not sure I can picture it having nothing but hymns.

Do you know anyone who plays trumpet, perhaps through your church?  My mom came down the aisle to Trumpet Voluntary played by real trumpet and it was amazing and so regal!

I’m so glad to hear you’ve found something you love for your recessional!  As a music fanatic (former music major) I cannot imagine having constraints put on my music choices for my wedding.

I have faith you will pick wonderful music that will tie everything together and be the icing on the cake to your incredible day!  Congrats in advance!

distantlover2016:  I thought I didn’t want to hear the “here comes the bride” song until I heard this version:  Song:  Bridal March, Artist: Vicente Avella

I came downt to trumpet voluntary as did my mom! (And Princess Diana :))

We hired a string quartet to play and it was absolutely beautiful. It was also more affordable than I thought it would be.

We did all classical music. It was perfect and lovely…

Did you do a search right hear on Weddingbee? There’s a great thread from 3 years ago.

Just for reference, most pipe organs can do amazing sounds, trumpets included. Speak to your organist too.

BLESSINGS.
