Hi – I am getting married in a Church that only has an organ…no piano or AV system. Anyone know of any good music I could have at the ceremony that would sound nice with an organ? Songs for a soloist to sing or to have for processional music?

Your church’s organist should be able to give you some suggestions. We had my FI’s aunt who’s an organist record organ music for our outdoor wedding and she gave us 5 excellent suggestions for all parts of the ceremony and we picked our favs from those.
Air by Handel (processional, quiet)
Trumpet Voluntary by Clark (processional, regal)
Jesu, Joy of Man’s Desiring (processional)
Trumpet Tune by Purcell (recessional)
Handel’s Hornpipe (recessional)
I also asked if she could make “Trumpet Voluntary” less trumpety sounding and she somehow did – it sounds amazing!!! Your organist should know their stuff and be able to suggest and tweak however you like. That’s why they’re the organist!
