I’ve only been to very few weddings but I always remember the ceremonies, they’re my favourite bit! To me that’s the most important part of a wedding, the vows, seeing two people in love commit to one another. Always get teary!

I always remember the ceremony. The rest is just a party.

However, I do remember when the reception is bad. 😛 I have been to a lot of average receptions.

I’ve been to 3 weddings in the past six months and I can definitely remember both the ceremony and reception from all three.

Hmm…this is good question. I think it depends on the wedding and the amount of time its been since it happened.

The most recent ones I have attended I remember aspects of both but the further back I remember its mostly just glimpses of either the ceremony or the reception.

imamonster89:  they’ve all been church weddings. One of them I didn’t know the couple well and couldn’t hear them properly saying their vows, so that wasn’t a stand-out, but the bridal party looked beautiful and it was still very emotional. The others were friends. Their ceremonies were so beautiful, full of love. Mostly same church-wedding structure though: entrance, readings, prayers, some of them had singing too. Lovely music.
