@LittleBruin: nope. I had almost 200 guests and they got along just fine with no program. It was just extra work that I didn’t want to do.

I don’t think so … based on what I read here, but its a good question I’m curious about as well.  🙂  We’re having 100 ppl at ours on the beach and I don’t plan on doing one.  Bad?  lol  I don’t know …

I am only doing wedding programs for out of towners in their welcome baskets. Most are American and I wanted to explain to them the Greek ceremony.

I think it is a nice touch, but definitely not necessary.

Not necessary! The only time I think you need em is if you have a particularly lengthy ceremony with lots of readers. No one will judge you if you don’t have them though!
