I plan on DIYing my ceremony programs. Do I need to make one for every person, or should I just have enough for one per couple?
I also am going to make confetti toss packets. Again, do I need one for every person, or one per couple?
I was thinking of leaving them on every other chair– program, confetti, program, confetti…. or maybe having them each in baskets w/a label “Please take one per couple”

This is probably a little late if you are already done making them, but we have 130 guests and are making 80 programs. At my friends wedding only the women took the programs and she had so many left over- I felt bad that she went through all the trouble. Fiance said he never takes one and just likes to scan over the one I grab.
As for the confetti- we are having people toss flower petals and we are just tying them in paper cones on the side of the chairs on the aisle. So the people on the aisle can throw them (since people inside won’t have a good reach anyhow.)
I am sure it will be a beautiful exit with the confetti!
