My officiate has tons of different ceremony options, vows and readings to choose from on his website. We’re sort of picking and choosing and adding to make it our own.

Here is his website, maybe you could start with one of the civil or contemporary ceremonies and work from there.

I don’t know if either of these two books will help you as I haven’t exactly read them cover to cover yet but I bought two books to help us write our ceremony and vows:

The Wedding Ceremony Planner by Judith Johnson

Sacred Ceremony by Dayna Reid

Scanned through them and they seamed perfect for our needs maybe they’d help you.  Both offer a lot of options for verbage but religious and non religious.  Bought mine from Amazon and Barnes and Noble.

We used Blessing for a Marriage by James Dillet Freeman and an exerpt from “The Gift from the Sea” By Anne Morrow Lindbergh.  Both are more spiritual than religious, and have some metaphors relating to nature.  I loved both of them.

@Candace From BC: This is off topic BUT I couldn’t figure out how to do that in B.C. I didn’t think it was legal!!! Can you send me some info on it because I wanted to have a friend marry us but after doing a TON of research I could not for the life of me figure out how to do that in BC!
