My fiancé and I are getting married next summer and need some help with our ceremony space. We are exchanging vows inside the ruins of an old castle. The back drop will be a huge stone fireplace and we are not sure how to decorate it. I love baby’s breath and would love to incorporate that somehow but not sure what else to use in order to fill in the empty spaces and decorate the fireplace mantle. i.e flowers, candles etc. Any suggestions would be helpful and greatly appreciated! Attached is a photo of the space along with some other shots of the venue which is also on the same property.
Thanks for the feedback!

What a fabulous fireplace and backdrop for your ceremony! Unless your wedding is in the evening I wouldn’t bother with candles. Masses of baby breath wojuld provide great contrast with the stone.
This first pic shows white flowers- you could use your baby’s breath. Supplement with some large moss balls and/or grapevine balls on the sides of the fireplace.
You could also do your initials in moss on either side of the mantel with baby’s breath across the mantel

I am loving your ideas! I never thought of using the moss initials in that way and I think its a great idea! I could even incorporate the concept onto the chairs down the isle. The ceremony will be taking place at 6pm so I agree that candles are not necessary. The babies breath will certainly pop and look great paired with the green moss! Thanks for the suggestions!

What a beautiful ceremony location!! I love the ideas above with the initals and baby breath. What about a topiary in the large fireplace or on either side?
Also what about doing the initials in baby breaths?
I agree that candles arent necessary and would only be for work. What about uplighting the larger fireplace?
