Wasn’t sure if anyone could offer some advice. I was about to order our invitations the other night until I realized my parents and I had never confirmed the time we wanted the reception to start.
Our ceremony is at noon in a Catholic church. I’ve been told it will probably last about an hour. So, 12-1ish. I’m trying to figure out how much time to allot for pictures after the ceremony, and my parents want the reception to start at 6pm. I was thinking 5:30, thinking pictures for 30-40 mins after the ceremony and then having our party bus pick us up at 1:30. We have it for 4 hours.
There is another ceremony starting at 2pm after ours, so I don’t even think we can be in the church past 1:30, anyway, so even if I changed the pick up time to 2 so we’d be done at 6, I don’t know what we could do for the last 30 mins, since I don’t want everyone to have to stand around.
I don’t think there is really anywhere outside of the church like a garden or anything to take pictures in, either.. there’s a cemetary, but not quite what I’m going for 🙂
Any suggestions would be appreciated!
