Any suggestions for my ceremony timeline? Thanks in advance 🙂
8:00 My brother ushers in close family members (in lieu of bridal party entrance)
8:03 Groom ushers in Mother-of-Bride
8:04 Groom enters with Mother-of-Groom and they stand at the front
8:05 Bible bearer, ring bearer, & flower girl enter
8:06 Entrance of bride and her father
8:08 FOB and MOG are asked who gives this woman/man etc…, then sit down.
8:10 Pastor’s message (from Eccl. 4:12)
8:20 Vows & Rings
8:30 Blessing from FOB
8:35 Final prayer (on knees)
8:40 Exit of bride & groom
By the way – this is 8:00 PM which is a normal ceremony time where we live 🙂

Looks good to me. Glad to see that someone elses ceremony is about 40 mins also. I was nervous that that was too long.

Thanks! I think 40 minutes is just right. If it was much shorter I feel like it’d be finished too fast and I’d regret not taking more time. But an hour would be getting too long for guests. 🙂

It looks good to me! Just curious, what exactly is the blessing from the FOB? Would it make more sense to do that after the FOB and MOG are asked who gives etc etc since he’ll already be standing there?

I can definitely see your point! Though this is a little different than ‘giving his blessing’. He’ll say a prayer to bless our new life together, etc. and I think it’s meant to occur after we’re married. I may ask the pastor about that though – thanks! 🙂
