(Closed) Ceremony to Recption timeline. Does this sound okay?

trishk82 :  I would consider moving your ceremony start time to 6:15, then it’d end at 6:35 at the latest, the first people to get out of the ceremony and drive to the reception will be able to go right in. Otherwise I think you would have a few people there 5-10 minutes early, which isn’t the biggest deal in the world, but it’s best that they can just go right in and start cocktail hour.

trishk82 :  Also – leave some time for you to be “introduced” into the reception if you plan to do that! If you have apps at cocktail hour you could probably push dinner back to 8 which leaves some time for you be announced and even get your spotlight dance out of the way if you want to (which is what we did) so that the “real” dancing could start as soon as dinner was over.
