We are in need of a ceremony venue for next May. We aren’t looking for a traditional church, although more of a old chapel style would work or an outdoor location (with a rain backup of course). The reception is booked for west of Pittsburgh- so anything that way would be great! We need something big enough to hold almost 200. Thanks in advance!

I’m not sure how far west of the city you are willing to travel, but I can think of a couple of places that might work for you.
1) The Timberhouse at Rolling Acres Golf course in Beaver Falls – http://www.rollingacresgolf.com/the-timberhouse. And here’s some pictures (this photog’s blog post is from a reception held there but they also do ceremonies): http://joeappelphotography.com/erin-and-john-the-timberhouse-at-rolling-acres-wedding/.
2) The Hyeholde Restaurant in Moon Township. Their website isn’t super-professional looking but it has a lot of info and pictures. http://www.hyeholde.com/index.html
They have beautiful spaces indoor and outdoor for a ceremony. Outdoor pics: http://www.christinamontemurrophotography.com/2010/08/hyeholde-restaurant-wedding-photographycoraopolis/

3) The Rogal Family Chapel at Robert Morris University, also in Moon Township. http://sentry.rmu.edu/web/cms/departments-offices/administration-services/cfs/facilities/Pages/chapel.aspx
Good luck with your search!

We’ve booked Roselea Farm in Moon Twp. It’s more than we were hoping to spend since we need to rent chairs, but it’s pretty and only 15/20 from reception.

@oandm: What’s Roselea Farms like? We’re considering moving our reception venue and I just heard about this place. Any info you have would be appreciated 🙂
