Alright Bees… this is my very first post! We are getting married in August at an outdoor amphitheater at the Oak Canyon Nature Center in Anaheim, CA. I have seen pictures of a just a couple of weddings that have been held there and they are not at all my style. I am going for a vintage, country chic theme with grays, blacks, whites and yellows. I’ve got the colors picked, I have the mason jars (thankfully), but I am not sure how I want to decorate the guest book/welcome table for the ceremony and reception. The reception will be at a community center so it is pretty much a blank canvas.
However, I am having a tough coming up with main decorative pieces for the welcome/guest book table at the ceremony as well as how to decorate the altar (see attached pic). Any ideas??? I am pretty crafty once I come up with something but it is the coming up with something part that has been pretty difficult.

Do you happen to have a picture of a ceremony there in August or in the summer to have an idea of the backdrop?
A can see a sheer white canopy in that space with lots of yellow flowers.

@Prestigious Occasions:I have no pictures of weddings in August. I don’t even remember what it looks like in August because the last time I was there was when I was in 6th grade! :-/

If those posts are flat on top you could place potted plants or flower baskets on top of each post.
You could drape some fabric in the center like this: one floral arrangement in the center and one on each side. Use a more rustic container than the urns.
Or, you could buy or rent potted trees to place on either side.
Or, place a potted flowering vine on each side and wind them around the posts.
