So we are doing a non-traditional, simple, casual ceremony in the public park area and then off to a dinner reception at an event center, this is a beautiful park, in the foothills and I am so excited the way it has come together, basically folks standing (no seating and no cover) and we’ll have our officiant, and us, maybe the parents up front ish, and my daughter and his brother but not bridal party etc.. just to give you an idea of what it’s going to look like. I didnt want to walk down any aisle, but now that it’s coming together, we will probably have some sort of aisle, marked by two planters where the officiant will be and my fi will probably come and meet me or something to walk with me, anyways I woke up at 3am this morning thinking-oh no, I’m going to be walking in either dead silence or through people murmuring and or talking, is that too weird? I know this whole set up is weird to a lot of the more traditional bees… but I’ve seen pics of this done on several photographer sites and I’m 100% sure this is the set up we want, but I didnt really think through the part where I come out of the car and come meet the groom…. is it going to seem like something is missing if it’s just silent? or because we are so much into the non-traditional route, will folks even notice? If I did anything, it would be a lone violinist or ucalaly (sp?) player or something simple like this, but I dont even know if it’s necessary at this point since we’ve skipped everything else traditional… thoughts.
