- Wedding: June 2013
I am in love with my ceremony location. The deposit has been down for a couple weeks – nonrefundable of course. The FH has very few requirements for the wedding, and the reception being in a church is one of them. There’s an extremely convenient, gorgeous historic church just down the street, but it has enough policies and ‘red tape’ to choke a horse. My Mother-In-Law is insisting we do the ceremony at their (occasionally attended) church…a good 35 minute drive away. They’d be much more flexible with their rules, but I’ve always said I would never want to inconvenience my guests with a long commute. Is that too far to drive, especially when we have alot of out of town family? Is convenience worth all the extra confinement and rules? I’d like to make my Mother-In-Law happy, but not at the expense of my guests looking at the invite and thinking it too much trouble.
