- Wedding: May 2017 - Ocean front
We’re also choosing to have our ceremony and reception in one big ball room. My wedding coordinator said they will divide the space into distinct areas (dining area, bar/hightops, DJ/dance floor and setting up more hightops and photo kiosk in place of where our ceremony will be right along the wall of windows overlooking the beautiful ocean!! She said would be a quick flip. Please see pics and diagram she printed for us:
A friend married here last year….room in action!

My nov wedding was all in 1 space. It was great. We were very untraditional… everyone was at their table/chair. Nothing needing moved. Breakfast buffet. People ate while we did a few pictures…we hired a caricature artist for their favors (under 50 people invited) we had two long tables and isle down the middle… Then our table was set up off to the side and just needed to be slid over after the ceremony.

carter2bee : oh, that’s an interesting idea! I like the idea of two long tables. Do you have pics? Did guests like it too?

Meganquita : we had about 90 people. Luckily our venue had room to fit quite a bit more people so we had plenty of room. Wr didn’t really have distinct sections, just things pushed around to different places. The tables were set up and pushed to the back. The chairs and ceremony set up was closer to the front and roughly where the front tables would be and where the dance floor would be. Then the tables were spread out and moved forward, so they took up most of the space and left room for a dance floor.
But we had no partition or anything, so the tables were visible at the back of the room. But since they were set up with the centerpieces it looked good.
