Anyone had one? I just had my OB yearly and my Dr said I have one. He said it’s no big deal but he recommended I have it removed before Darling Husband and I try to have kids because it may be an impediment. Has anyone ever had one removed?

I had one and had it removed right away because it was turning necrotic. Basically my cervix strangled it so it died. It didn’t hurt at all and there was no anesthesia required, but I do recommend you have someone go with you because it was pretty scary for me to have someone (actually two, a doctor and a nurse) reach in there with metal tongs, grab and twist to remove something that was growing on my body! I was kind of traumatized and cried for awhile afterward. Maybe it wouldn’t be so bad for you, though. @julies1949: I’m impressed that you seemed unfazed by the whole thing! I was freaked out.
