To me BH were more a tightening. Also thy were more in my belly than way down low.

It sounds like it could be your little one throwing some jabs or round ligament pains or just normal pressure. I ended up feeling all of that around 30 weeks and unfortunately it has just gotten worse over the last 9 weeks.

I am 31 weeks on tuesday and i have had some sharp pains on my sides (round ligament pain) and also felt like the baby is kicking my cervix, it goes away pretty quickly. I have also had some braxton hicks and they feel completely different, it feels like a belt tightening.  My doc said not to worry that it was normal.

I have been having the same problem. Mine is almost constant when I move though. Walking, getting up, rolling over in bed. From what I have read on the internet it is the pelvic bones preparing for birth. I go for my monthly tonight and will be doublechecking with them. I can post an answer tomorrow if you like. Oh and I am 27 weeks.

Yea. This is the fun part! It’s not just the big belly that makes walking, getting up, and sleeping difficult it’s all the pains that are associated!

Yep, I can’t sleep at night (35wks now) because when I get up to use the bathroom, pain shoots through my pelvic area, right in the middle. It’s horrible. I can’t get into a SUV without it shooting through me!

I know I already talked to you about this but I just rolled over in bed (I spent most of my time home now in bed Embarassed ) and had this SHOOTING pain on the right side of my pelvis. Oh my goshhhh it hurt! I literally had to sit there and massage it out because it was like one big kink 🙁 Not fun.

So I asked about it and she checked me and cervix  was normal so that was good. She suggested trying the band to see if that might help with taking some of the pressure off. She said it was possible that there was pressure on a nerve causing it.  I don’t know if any of you are wearing the band, but I am willing to give it a shot so I can try for a pain free day! I still have over 2 months to go!

@firsttimemom: Trust me you are not the only one. I go to work and come home and i am lucky if I can get it together to cook dinner for myself. I cook pasta for dinner most nights because it is quick and easy. If I overdue things I end up in the ER. I learned to take it  easy. Poor Fiance is stuck doing all the cleaning around here lately.
