IT’S FRIDAY!!! CFBC bees, what are your plans?
(Also, just a friendly reminder that this is for CFBC bees, so CFBC bees please don’t engage those who aren’t so we can keep the thread on topic and on track and hopefully get to know each other!)

So, I’m having a fairly quiet weekend. Going for drinks with colleagues this evening after work and then might join some other friends for dinner. Tomorrow I have zero plans other than a lie-ins and a bath and probably a movie at home. Sunday I might go to the zoo but am undecided as I’m exhausted this week!
So all in all nice and chilled with hopefully lots of R&R!

I have to adult on Saturday and go food shopping, then prep my breakfasts and lunches for the week. Sunday is the Super Bowl and the husband and I are going to spend it eating and drinking literally all day. I took Monday off so long weekend for me!

We’re adding to our home gym and have some small improvements to make around the house. Friends over at some point. Some baking. Bubble jet tub and wine. Maybe go skating if it warms up enough not to lose a finger out there.

I have to work. I do one rotating Saturday every 6 weeks. We’ll probably go out to dinner Saturday night and then Sunday we’ll do something non Superbowl related. Even though we’re in New England. I’m thinking the movies.

We moved in with my ILs last weekend. π© So this weekend will probably be all about me finding ways to not be in the house. Weather should be nice, so we’ll probably go ride bikes, take our dog to the dog park, and perhaps drive out to a state park to go for a hike.

I have a meet and greet for my foster dog on Saturday π Hoping they are a great family, but I’m going to miss him so much!
Other than that, not much. H is working so I usually just laze around the house. Time to find a new netflix show lol.

We are hosting our 5th Murder Mystery Dinner Party tomorrow π They are so much fun (dress up in character, read lines, find out who the murderer is, eat, drink)

jellybellynelly : That’s really cool that you do that! I’m a foster fail. :-/ I was only supposed to have this dog for ONE week while his foster mom was on vacation. But a couple days in I SOBBED at the thought of giving him up so I got to keep him!

ButternutPoppy : Awee haha. H and I actually seriously discussed keeping this one. He’s 110% perfect inside the house, but he doesnt get along with other dogs π He was just neutered, so I bet in 6 months he will chill out a bit, but for now it’s a bit much for us to handle.
Y’know when (not appropriate for this thread haha) people say they aren’t trying to get preg but aren’t not trying? Thats kind of what we are doing with dogs haha. If the perfect one comes along we will snap him/her up, but other than that we are happy helping as many as we can find their perfect home. He’s been the closest we’ve gotten so far haha.

barbie86 : We’re moving to Colorado this summer, and since our lease was up now it just made sense to go ahead and save some money with the in-laws and be able to leave for Colorado whenever we want to (instead of timing it with when our lease ends). And since I’m a grad student who is going to be doing an internship when we first move, I couldn’t really argue with the fact that DH wants to save some extra money before we go.
I just keep telling myself that I need to make it through the spring and then I’ll be 800 miles away from them from now on. π

I just got back from a week long work trip and I’m exhausted so I probably won’t do anything fun. Although I am really excited to sleep in tomorrow morning and have coffee in bed while reading. Ha it’s the little things in life!

Today: Groceries shopping, cooking a nice dinner for two (I am thinking pasta) and then read, read, read until I am satisfied.
Tomorrow and sunday I might just relax, go to the movies with DH and read some more (I have so many books I want to read! Haha). Weekends are usually my days for relaxing and spending time with DH.
All your plans sound great! I wish there were more cultural events where I am currently living.
