I am going to sewing night with girls and staying out as late as I want tonight. Tomorrow I’m going to sleep in for as long as possible, eat some brekkie, and probably go shopping and take my time. I’m going to a childfree Superbowl Party and enjoying whatever I want all because I’m CFBC.

Dh has to work tomorrow, so I’ll have a quiet day with the pooches and hopefully get some work done on my reasesrch for the next book.

Sunday we’re eating out for a late lunch/early dinner.  We go at geezer hour to avoid kid issues. Seems they must be home napping at 2-3 pm or so.  And it’s Super Bowl Sunday, so crowds should be minimal.  Dh has no interest in this year’s teams.

I, however, never miss the Puppy Bowl.

Now I’m realizing it’s been eons since we’ve been to the symphony or the opera.  I’m embarrassed to admit, our last concert was a Christmas of 2016 when we saw Mannheim Steam Roller. Awesome show.

Winter weather has me wanting to just huddle up under a blanket this weekend but I have too many other obligations.

We’re going out for dinner and drinks with friends tonight and a super bowl party Sunday. My in laws are coming to town on Wednesday so this weekend I need to get cleaning done as well as work a bit so I can leave early when they’re here and also get a meal plan done and shopped for. I’ve been REALLY lazy the past few weekends so this seems like a lot.

I have a new book I want to start but I’m planning on holding off until I finish everything on my to do list.

I also should really pick some paint colors out but I hate hate doing that. Maybe I’ll ask my Mother-In-Law to help me!

We just got back from a family wedding/vacation in Canada and Mexico so had planned on doing nothing but our usual volunteer committments but the weather is awesome so we are taking our boat out for some adult fun (which means no kids invited).

Sunday I have a shit tonne of ironing to do. I have let it build up and then with all our vacation stuff as well arghhh not looking forward to it.

Waiting for Darling Husband to get home, I picked up food and we’ll eat together and cuddle through a movie tonight.

Tomorrow we will sleep til at least 10:00, and then we might go out for a bit, depending on the weather. We want to see the new horror movie, Winchester with Helen Mirren.

Sundays are reserved for sleeping in, lazing around the house and in bed and catching up on books, movies and having as much sex as we want.

No concrete plans and we don’t have to do anything we don’t want to or worry about anyone else. Love our life.

We are building a large pond, waterfall, fire pit and seating area in our backyard. I got an email from the local Chamber of Commerce yesterday mentioning a garden show over the weekend, so I texted it to fiancé and he is very interested in going to get ideas. It is looking to be cloudy however, so we will probably try to go fairly early. I am sure we will have either breakfast or lunch out.

We are also revamping a guest room into a man cave for him, and he has been bugging me about buying a new TV for that room (he has told me many many times that TV prices are supposed to be the best around super bowl), so we may go look at TVs.

No plans yet for Sunday. While we both like sports, neither of us are football fans, so watching the game is not on our radar. We might watch some of the puppy bowl.

ITs the frozen tundra here so its Live PD night for me 😀 and then tomorrow spa day. I need to get some writing in. Not sure about Sunday. We shall see. But having the freedom to figure that out rocks!
