This year I plan on going to Nashville, TN. As well as Kentucky, Indiana, Ohio and whatever else states my Fiance and I stop along the way. We also plan on going to Iceland. That’s about it but next year we def plan on traveling more.

We’re both soccer fans, so we’re going to follow the World Cup! We’re still going to travel otherwise, but every 4 years, we’ll be seeing a new country! We’re starting with the Copa Cup this year – it’s in the US, but we’re doing Chicago and NY ๐Ÿ™‚ Russia or bust in 2018!

barbie86:  I watch American football too, so I have to call it soccer :-). Sadly, I don’t see the US team getting past the 16 stage any time soon. But I’m super excited about the Copa Cup, I’m hoping to see Tim Howard play before he retires.

Our honeymoon is our big trip coming up! I love to travel, but I think a big trip every few years is reasonable for us. I’ve slowed down!

barbie86:  We are planning on going either on a Carribean cruise or someplace else that is warm/tropical this fall. We wanted to do it in February, but we bought a new (very badly needed) mattress, instead. ๐Ÿ™

We also may go to Michigan for my cousin’s wedding this summer- we’ll see. I’d rather spend that money going to Iceland, like PP mentioned! Even though I have family in MI, none of them have room for us to stay, so it would be a pretty pricey trip when it’s not really a place either of us would otherwise want to vacation. So we may skip it and do Iceland, instead ๐Ÿ˜€

Another variable is that instead of a cruise this fall, we may go to Germany with his family. Lots of options! I’d be surprised if we actually end up taking two trips this year, but I sure do like to dream! We have to spend $6k getting our sewer line fixed this spring, so it’s putting a damper on our finances.

Have fun in Riga! It is not a huge tourist place. We were there for christmas one year and it was beautiful. They originate the christmas tree. Who knew? This year travel plans are lame, I am trying to finish my grad degree so I’m poor and busy. He is going to Philly in April and I want to do a cruise to the Bahamas during spring break. He wants to go somewhere exotic in the summer for a proper honeymoon, Thailand or Bali. We shall see.

This year I am for sure going to Key West for kayaking and adventure with a friend next week! So excited. We have a short trip to Minneapolis in April for a wedding a day before my birthday, so we will stay a day longer and do something fun there. I also hope to go to Portland, OR for the National Animal Rights Conference this year, knocking a location and an event of my travel list at once. Since we are remodeling our kitcchen right now, we may not travel as much this year, but I am ok with that, so excited for the kitchen to be done and use it again!

Some future trips we would love to take are to Europe and explore castles, Vancouver BC for food (me) and skiing (DH), and visiting friends near Denver, CO.

MariContrary:  Wow! That sounds amazing, what fun, not huge into soccer (football) myself, but I can see how it would be a dream for fans.

barbie86:  we just did southern California for the hold. (My family lives there)  We are going on his family ski trip to aspen next month. In June it’s back to so cal fkf my little brother’s graduation. In August it’s probably Cape Cod. But I’m trying to convince him to go to the Caribbean.

I love hearing about everyone’s travel plans! We went to Chicago, Mexico, and Sonoma wine country last year. Sonoma was the best. Upcoming trips are San Diego, Washington DC, and hopefully Tuscany.

We are considering going to Ko Samui, Thailand!  Has anyone been there?
