Anyone care to share their experience with your chain store ring? I’m wondering if they get a worse rap than they deserve. Please share stories and pictures 😁😁
People’s Jewelers ring here, .50 center stone, 1 ct total. Si1 clarity, but only has one minor inclusion thats visible, but i completely love it, flaw and all 😊I bought the matching band as well, and I LOVE MY RINGS!!! The store associates were amazing, I have a lifetime warranty but I haven’t had a single issue yet (had the ring 9 months). The first picture is from the store website, second is in real life.
Share your rings and stories please, I live seeing fellow chain store rings 😁😁😁

This is my original diamond set from Hannoush (middle finger). H (more like K), SI2. Poorly cu and definitely gives that MAUL store rep. I still love it becausey husband chose it for me. ❤️

Rogers and Hollands! It was a special order because the band isn’t usually made to set a pear shape. Love the lifetime warranty!! Totally worth it. Mines a .53 G Si1 size 7

My engagement ring came from Brilliant Earth, and we were going to go with a custom curved band (SO expensive there for custom rings thkugh) until we found a perfect band from Rogers and Hollands! They seem to be a cut above the Kay/Jared stuff but that’s just IMO.

My husband purchased my wedding set from Kay, and for the sake of convenience we also purchased his wedding band from Kay. We are probably never going to buy anything from Kay again….his wedding band had to be sent back after getting it resized because the ring we received (with the engraving we ordered) was NOT finished; the color did not match the one we chose in the store. My center stone in my engagement ring also has gotten loose 4-5 times in the year or so I have had it and has had to be sent in for two weeks each time (that means that I was not able to wear my engagement ring for 10 weeks!)….after retipping the prongs and finding out that the stone was loose AGAIN this last time they finally replaced the head with what looks to be more sturdy prongs so we’ll see. My husband was nice enough to get me a moissanite wedding set during this time and I’ve been obsessed with rings every since!
Regardless of everything I still love this “mall store” set because it was the ring I was proposed to with and got married with!

My fiancé has a really good friend that works at Jareds I love the experience we got and the quality of the ring. Just everything! It is completely eyeclean S1 .50 center stone and custom made. I love that all the work is done in store, my lifetime warranty and although I will never change the unique design he created for me, I may upgrade the size of my diamond 💎 you get the entire trade in value and just pay the difference. I am very happy that he went to Jareds 😁

My husband bought my ring from Shane Co. We loved our experience there! Thier sales people we awesome, super helpful, and the only ones who didn’t make an annoying fuss about the fact that I wanted a sapphire not a diamond. We bought our wedding bands from them as well. I would recommend them to anyone.

Here’s my beauty from Kay! We had a great experience and they price matched from bluenile.com! Fiance was able to pick his stone and use a Neil Lane setting! I’ve received only great service!

This is my ring from Fred Meyer Jewelers. It’s a 0.33 ct solitaire with a side design in 14k Rose Gold. We had a great experience but that said after shopping around I would NEVER go to a chain like Zales or Kay. Fred Meyer had really nice diamonds and they have in store jewelers. The other places we looked were charging the same prices but selling lower quality diamonds. Mine is certified, H color and I don’t remember the clarity but there are no visible flaws. We customized the ring and we got it very quickly!

Mall stores get a bad rap. They are ridiculously overpriced and some do have lower quality. I however iave a few from zales and kay. I love the warranties. I have worn my rings camping, in the ocean, everyday everywhere. Personal preference I guess. I would not have anything custom made from mall stores. The most I would do was buy a loose stone and the setting from a mall store. Here’s my set. E ring from zales and band from kay.

My Fiance got my ring from Kavar and they’ve been extremely nice (sizing it for free etc).
I wouldn’t trade or upgrade mine for anything. I love it.
