I am getting married June 23rd of this year and recently ordered chair covers for our reception (the chairs at the venue are hideous). I was given wrong measurements so the chair covers I ended up getting are almost an 1 1/2 – 2 inches too short. I can’t take them back (too late).
Do you think it makes a huge difference? I’m just on the fence about it and would love to hear some other opinions!

I don’t think it will make a difference at all! In fact, I’d say it was actually a fortuitious error because I personally hate HATE when my chair leg gets caught in the fabric.

They should look just fine…….when covers are too long not only do you put some of your elderly guests at risk for a fall, they bunch up and look like an ill fitting slip cover. Because yours are just a bit too short…..the actual look should be very sleek and neat. If your really worried just tie a bright sash across the upper back……lets face it, if someone has nothing better to do than look at the legs of your chairs……you probably dont care what they think anyway……congrats on your big day…..

You could always try to sell them for what you paid and re-purchase the correct sizes….

Would you be willing to sell?
