I would use the chairs as is.
Even in your sample pic, you can see that the decor is completely lost.

All you see is a sea of white chair covers.

Well I’m incredibly anti-chair cover, so I’m biased, but I think the chairs are perfectly fine as is. Like @julies1949 said, the decor gets lost in a sea of white. And really, they’ll be covered all night by people’s butts and jackets. :p However, if there’s plenty of room in the budget for it and you really hate the chairs, go nuts. But if you’d rather spend the money elsewhere, I don’t think anyone will miss the covers.

I had almost those same exact chairs at my venue, and I didn’t like them at all, so I went with chair covers and it looked much, much better.

I like the chair covers but not for $600. They’re just a place for people to sit… I hear you though, I am drawn to them. It’s one of those things I’ve had to take a step back and prioritize.

I am normally a no-chair-cover kind of girl, but i had chairs just like that at my venue and they were an ugly shade of red that clashed, so I got the chair covers. The only bad part about them is the metal part that lines it, but it’s not that bad so if it’s not killing you then save the money, it’s not cheap to cover them! Plus, once people are sitting in them you won’t really notice.

i am renting white folding chairs because i have the same problem… not like backyard chairs but white wooden chairs with padding. they look better than the venue’s chairs and cost around the same price as chair covers… i personally hate bow chair covers look.

The chairs do not mesh well with the decor, I vote chair covers

Guys put their jackets on the chairs, girls puts their purse straps or sweaters on the chairs… so they won’t look perfect all the time… so you have to decide if it’s worth the amount of money for that few seconds when they are uncovered…

I vote for no chair covers. You hardly notice the chairs without the covers, but with them on I find them kind of distracting. And I honestly don’t think it is worth the extra money!

I had the same battle I chose not to go with the chair covers, Needless to say I didn’t miss them one bit. Sure they look great before people are sitting in them, but They are totally unnecessary. Keep your 600 and spend it on your honeymoon! 🙂

I think the room looks much nicer and more elegant with the chair covers.  I don’t like the fact that they are $600, but I think it does add a lot to the look of the room with them…A PP had a good idea…if you don’t like the chairs and don’t want to spend that much on chair covers, could you rent nicer/different color chairs for cheaper?

I think that it looks so pretty with the chair covers…it just makes the room! However, I don’t like the $600 price tag. I’m doing chair covers and its going to cost me $600 too. Oh well.
