skip the covers.  someone told me people won’t remember if you had them either way. and if they are seated you won’t notice they aren’t there in pictures…I’m a bride on a budget.

I wouldn’t waste $600 on chair covers. Just think what else you could do with that money!

Those banquet chairs seem to have an opening between the back of the chair and the top of the frame. You could get green chair sashes and tie them vertically over the back of the chairs for waaaaaaaaaaaaay less money.

If you can’t find wider sashes, you could use organza runners.

I have the same chairs at my venue, no covers! can’t justify the extra costs, and I hate things that are not pressed and clean lines, and most of the chair covers looked wrinkled to me!

@slee555:  600 is way too much and seriously the chairs look good and if you’re not happy you can always do what julies1949 said.

I’m going to go against the grain here, and vote for chair covers. I think when you have the room all draped in white or ivory, it adds such a nice detail that really creates a different atmosphere altogether. I say this though, after I had to be talked INTO chair covers by my mom.

Once people sit in the venue and as the night gets darker I really don’t think it would be worth it. If you don’t want to spend the money, don’t!

@jules28:  I agree. I can’t believe we’re the only ones that think this! I think white covers would look way better.

I guess it depends on what your entire budget is…

@QBbride:  My choice has nothing to do with any available budget.

It is a simple personal choice between those who like a sea of white and those who don’t.

@julies1949:  I also have to agree. I think the taupe-brown colour of the chairs compliments the colour in the window frames. And I can`t stand the sea of white!

While I agree the sea of white is a “cleaner” look, I don’t think the chairs take away from the look at all. If it were my venue I’d skip the covers cause The chairs look good.

I don’t like chair covers, they seem way too fussy for my taste. Your venue is gorgeous, just go with it!
