What about wooden stacking chairs like these?

The ones you posted give me school vibes, but the above would definitely fit well in a forest/rustic vibe. Would also recommend the wooden crossbacks you mentioned. We used them without cushions for our wedding and had no complaints.

@angelfish9:  OH! my bad! lol, understood. I’m sure it will be beautiful and anyone who dares to criticize anything on someone’s wedding day needs to have several seats (pun intended).

Speaking of somebody who is too heavy for your typically rented chairs I really like these chairs. I have wide hips and these chairs would not be too narrow and fact is they hold more weight!

As for the color and everything I don’t think it’s too much to worry about myself. If you don’t like it maybe you could look into renting some covers or something perhaps.

it’s just very uncomfortable when you’re a guest and you come in and you realize that the folding chairs that were rented are not the kind of thing you can sit on because you risk breaking it or falling over. A lot of those things aren’t very sturdy. The chairs that you’re showing I think are going to be much more comfortable for a lot of your guests….. And a friend of mine really liked cheers like this because she was in a wheelchair and they were very easy to transfer onto!
