Sometimes looks good, sometimes looks like 1992. I am not stylish enough to pull it off.

I love it.  I think it goes with just about anything.

ETA: My go-to casual outfit is a chambray shirt (like #4 but without the fading), dark slim jeans, and sunglasses.  I’ll tuck a thinner chambray shirt (like #3) into skirts for something less casual, wear with boots and tights in the winter or flats/sandals when its warm.

I’m not a huge fan but every so often I see an outfit with chambray that looks okay.  Not really my cup of tea though.

Saw this on the JCrew Factory facebook page, thought I’d share.  I love this shirt.

@Meowkers:  haha god help me if I look like that.  I remember your recaps- you are certainly feminine enough to not look like that guy.

For those of you who do own chambray, what’s your favorite brand? I’d love to take the plunge!

I love it, but I have yet to find one that I think fits well that isn’t ridiculously overpriced. It’s not exactly something I want to spend $100 or so on, which is how much some of the shirts I’ve seen cost!

I love it. I don’t really see a problem with that guy in the picture above. He could maybe use a belt, but whatev.

I think it’s great as long as it’s done well.  But anything done poorly will look bad.

#3 almost looks just like a normal blue button down shirt to me…
