Do you think this stone is a good stone to put into this ring? I was originally thinking of morganite, but a small stone seems to be hard to come by in this variety of gem, and the hardness of it (7.5-8, on mohs scale) seems to scare me a bit. So I found a nice sapphire gem that replicates the color of the morganite. What do you think?

I think it looks great! I think sapphire is a great option, I have a blue sapphire e-ring.

Sapphire are a great durable stone. I’ve had a pink saphire & white gold ring that I wore daily and it holds up great. (This is coming from a girl that has snapped, broke, twisted and just found ways mess up necklaces, bracelets, rings and everything)

Oh my goodness that is my dream ring!! Seriously! I have been looking at morganite too but you’re right a sapphire is much better, do you mind if I ask where you got the stone and setting from?
