I like the idea of adding a champagne sash, just because it would look nice – but I don’t think a white Flower Girl dress would clash with an ivory gown.  I wore a diamond white dress and my flower girl wore ivory – looking at the pictures you really can’t tell unless you look very very closely (and I’m looking at photos where she’s sitting on my lap).  It definitely isn’t an eye-catching difference.

If it really drives you nuts though, you could always buy a white dress and dye it.

I think the idea of adding the sash is lovely!

Her having a white or ivory gown may make your dress look dingy.

I think an ivory dress with a champagne sash would be great.  It is perfectly appropriate for the flower girl to wear a lighter color than you because she is so young.  The white is just a symbol of purity and innocence which little girls seem to represent so well.  I think it would look better in fact than if she were to match you too much.  Go with ivory.

I have the same situation – my dress is champagne/ivory, and my flower girl’s dress is white.  They look totally fine together – don’t stress it!  🙂
