Need help… My wedding is vintage rustic theme with an ombre color pallette. My bridesmaid dresses are a light champagne/nude shade with ivory lace racerback and my groomsman in a dark khaki. The bridesmaids will wear pearls and each carry a different color boquet in the color scheme…the groomsman will have a flower boutonnière the same shade as the bridesmaid they walk with. In general do you think the nude dresses and khaki suits are WAY too matchy???

No, I don’t think it’s too matchy. I love the ombre concept 🙂

I wouldn’t go khaki with champagne. Maybe a tan, beige or cream would work better?

Not at all! Go for it! I bet it will be beautiful. I should admit that I’m baised though because I LOVE gold everything and Darling Husband wore a khaki suit for our wedding. ; )

The color is Jim Hjelm Cashmere. This is a dress in that color and fabric from the website. . Although I got a swatch in the mail last night and to me , it looks slightly darker in person. Thoughts

When it comes to menswear… and the word Khaki there is a lot of range…
Example, when it comes to Chinos / Docker type pants… the colour Khaki could be anywhere from… Beige – Cement – Tan – Light Brown – OR even a shade of Olive Green
Maybe you could post a sample of what you SEE as Khaki so we’d have a better idea.

Well I think the colors are fine together but when I first was reading this I was thinking of khaki as a different more lighter tan color which I would then think would not look good but after reviewing the photos you should be just fine.
