Mine is an almond/champagne under the ivory lace overlay. It has a nice soft warm tone….I love it!

It doesn’t really look it in pics but my dress was a darker ivory/ champagne colour, I also loved off the shoulder straps!

Those champagne dresses are gorgeous!!!  White doesn’t look good on me so I’ve been leaning towards champagne.

Do any of you beautiful brides wished you had worn white or ivory instead?  I have one friend that keeps steering me towards white and keeps telling me I might regret it

Also do the champagne gowns photograph differently in terms of color?  In other words, do some photos show lighter and some show more true to the color?

harleybeachbride6 :  love your new dress!!! You look gorgeous!

Mine was a nude underlay and definitely a champagne color! It looked way better on my skin tone than a stark white dress..

Mine was Allure Couture champagne/ivory for reference. This are pro photos.

I was so worried while waiting for my dress to come in that I made the wrong choice and I wouldn’t look “bridal” enough. Once I saw my dress again I absolutely was 200% in LOVE with the champagne. Allure’s champagne has such a warmth to it that it really gave my dress a couture look as well as depth to the skirt. No regrets going champagne. Got lot’s of compliments on the color at the wedding as well.

Severine :   It all depends on the lighting- I have ivory over champagne and it either looks very white or it has depth.

Severine :  No regrets! I find that most people who are so set on white either haven’t seen, or more likely don’t know that they’ve seen, anything else. If your dress suits you then your people are likely to be too distracted by how incredible you look to notice or wonder what shade your dress is.

The colour photographs pretty true to life in my experience, but your accessories/backdrop etc do affect what kind of undertones come out in your dress. I had a summer wedding so I deliberately played up the warm tones in mine, rather than cool ones.

Loved my champagne dress with ivory lace overlay. I was iffy about it for the longest time but wearing it on my wedding day and seeing pictures now ,it was 100% the right choice. I felt so bridal still and it didn’t wash out my skin tone like white would have done!

Mine’s ivory over champagne. It’s a Casablanca. Love it! I never regretted the color.

I’m seriously drooling over all your dresses!  Such gorgeous dresses!!  Champagne makes the lace, whether white or ivory or black or any other color, just POP and photograph so well. And I’m surprised to see that champagne still looks so bridal. There’s no mistaking who the bride is!

Was it hard finding a matching veil?  I’m assuming if you had ivory lace detail, you could match it to that.  Did anyone wear a champagne veil?

Also did all you brides try on the samples in champagne?  I’m finding out that a lot of dresses that also come in champagne only come in white or ivory in the salon.  Did anyone try on a white or ivory dress, but ordered it in champagne with only their imagination or pictures of other brides to go on?

Keep the gown photos coming!

Ivory over champagne! I love it! It highlights the details more than straight ivory would have.
