I’ve found the dress (cabablanca 1769)…. now I just need to pick the color.
I was originally hunting for an ivory dress but the one I love was tried on in Champagne(can be ordered in ivory but the store didn’t have a sample to try on).
Everyone I’ve asked likes the champagne, but I hesitate. It doesn’t look dirty like it went through a wash and got grungy, does it? I normally lean towards crisp colors and don’t own any brown, pink or beige in my entire wardrobe. But the champagne showed the detail well and made me look less pale. does it matter that it’s not “white” ivory?
It’s a fall wedding and our colors are likely sapphire blue and burgundy with some light blue accents.
The first two pics are me in champagne, the second two are from the web, in ivory.
What do you think Champagne or ivory?
Thanks all! I value your opinions! 😀

Yes, I definitely think Ivory will complement your skin better than the Champagne!

@H216scrf: What a pretty dress! The beading and details are just phenomenal! what a great shape for you! I tend to like the crisp-type colors as well and I prefer the Ivory. I do not think that you are losing any of the details with that color, I guess the Champagne does appear a bit dingy to me, or maybe just too dark/off color for some reason…. give this posting a bump tomorrow and maybe you will get some additional responses! or maybe add a poll? sometimes that helps! good luck!

The champagne colour does look lovely but I chose ivory as I think it will suit your colouring better 🙂

I like the champagne but then when I saw another bee comment about the ivory going better with your skin tone I voted the ivory, but it’s hard to tell from the photo as you can’t see as much of you compared to the champagne picture.

I would opt for the ivory if I were you due to your skin tone. Ivory seems to work better.

I voted champagne to make the detail pop like you mentioned- beautiful dress!

I love the champagne but I think the ivory looks better with your skin tone.
