So, I had a previous post asking Champagne or Red, so the verdict goes to Champagne!
As a refresher: I’m having a red and springy green wedding, used in moderation against white/neutrals. My favorite color is red and my fiance’s is green, so I had to make this color combination work. I found lots on inspiration on Pinterest… that does NOT end up looking like Christmas. 😉
Now, I’ve asked the BMs what color dresses they’re prefer, since they are keeping these dresses in the end. Keep in mind they are wearing FLOOR-LENGTH dresses, since this is a semi-formal event. I originally went for Champagne, and they’d have color from bouquets or accessories, but now I’m afraid this neutral color would look so plain… (My fiance thinks so too). Then I saw Mint green dresses, and I fell in love with this! Especially when accented with red for that pop. Now I’m torn. And I need your help!!! See pictures of both colors below.
CHAMPAGNE:

MINT GREEN:

Please let me know what you think!!! Thank you for your input, bees.

Even though it’s a paler green.. I can’t help but think of Chrismas whenever I see red & green paired together. So I voted for the champagne

I agree with the above post. If you didnt have it paired with red, then green would go. But it appears Christmas-y with red. Go with the champagne. ITs more romantic, anyway.

I personally would look so sickly in mint green, and if I was the bride I think it would lend a sickly look to have it all around me. I think if you add pops of color in the bouquets the champagne will look really beautful and not too neutral.

I just love the champagne. Also, the dresses may get a lot more future use as the colour is versatile.

@X0JLYNN03: @Liss13: thank you to you both. ive been showing others too and they agree that it’ll still look christmasy regardless of the shade of green… =P
@p2b: i’ll definitely see how we’re add pops of color with the champagne, like red flowers in hair, red nails, red shoes… =) may i ask what is your skin color? i’m actually curious now how mint green could look sickly. i hadn’t thought of that! thanks.
@crystalrae: yea, champagne was my original choice to give my BMs a versatile color choice. thanks for your input!
@MeiFrancis: thank you! champagne is a popular choice! im glad i asked. =)

Though the mint color is nice, it doesnt look great on everyone and since it’s trendy, there is a lower chance that your BMs will wear it again. Champagne all the way!

@millenn1um: I’m very fair with dark blond hair and VERY pink undertones in my skin. A light green color just sort of absorbs the pinkish out of me and brings out a more yellow color so I look sort of sickly.
If you have a darker complexion with warmer tones, or an olive type complexion I don’t think the mint green would be a problem for you- it actually might complement you very nicely.
But for me personally, I’d go champagne all the way.

Not a fan of the mint green, always makes me think of icecream. The champagne is wonderful and soft and perfect.

I like the champagne. I think that mint green doesn’t go as well with white….which is strange, but oh well. Champagne goes with more colors.

I’d say champagne, though both colors would make me (and would’ve made all of my BMs) look sickly.

I love the champagne!! & It looks amazing with the red bouquet!
I’m not a fan of a colored dress + colored bouquet, though. I like a neutral + a pop of color, like the champagne + red.

We did mismatched dresses in similar colors, though the flowers had pops of orange instead of red:

I’d go with the champagne, its so lovely, the mint green looks sickly to me and then again I hate green
