IMO, it’s not a favor if you use it during the wedding. I don’t think candy bars are favors and if I was given a cold bottle of champagne I wouldn’t consider that a favor. If they were wrapped up cute on a table for the end of the night, I would consider it a favor. You could put a sign that said, Drink a toast to the Newlyweds or Share with somebody you love, etc.

I say that if you do mini bottles be sure that its actually good stuff… don’t half-a** it. We went to a wedding where the favors were like… glorified Zima (I don’t remember what the champ. was called but it was like a malt beverage and nasty). So I only suggest doing this as a favor if it is truly in your budget. Also, I agree with KateMW… don’t worry about keeping it cold if you are giving it as a favor for guests to take home.

I think if you’re going to do it as a favor, you should put them all out on a table by the exit, maybe with ribbons around the tops, and a suggestion to “Toast to the new couple” or something like KateMW suggested. But I kinda agree with KateMW, that if you give them out during the reception, guests will probably just think its part of dinner and not consider it a favor.

Nuatica54~ You could just skip favors if you’re not finding any you like. I’ve never been sad not to have a favor.
