Many of the stores I visited didn’t allow food or drinks other than water. When my aunt came in with a coffee they about tackled her.

I would highly recommend calling them first and asking, that is the best way to be sure.

You should call the salons and ask if they will allow it.  Technically, in most areas it is against the law as they don’t have liquor licenses, so they may not.  Also, I don’t know that the salons want a drink that stains around all those white dresses.

That sounds like such a bad idea hahaha. I would go out and celebrate post-dress shopping πŸ™‚

I always wanted to have that experience, drinking champagne in a store like you see on TV.  I doubt very many bridal salons will allow it though, for liability and legal reasons.  But I like the PPs suggestion of celebrating after.  =)

I would skip it. Some will give you champagne if you order your dress there, but I would hate to make a mess with it or spill it on a dress.

@StephieBee:

Really? That is very cool!

All the places I’ve been to make you wear white gloves so I hardly expected them to let people in with booze!

@StephieBee:  I saw in one of your older posts that you went to a salon that encouraged a bottle of champagne while trying on dresses. I’m a newly engaged SoCal girl, and I was wondering if you could tell me where you went – I’d love to find a place like that in LA!

I would call and ask. The first place I went said we could bring our own, and they provided the glasses. I didn’t really get to drink any, but my family did!
