The original plan was to have white/pink tables with gold accents and purple bridesmaids dresses.
I found a deal on purple wedding table lines, so I decided to change to purple and gold for the tables for the sake of my budget. I want to change the color of my bridemaids dresses. I’m just not sure to what. I really don’t like pink dresses (and neither does half of my bridal party). I’m not really crazy about pastels either.
I was thinking Gem from david’s bridal possibly? It’s a greener teal.
The linen color is very close to regency from davids bridal, which is kind of a royal purple.
Please give me some suggestions.

Are you going for a Mardi Gras wedding color scheme? Because purple, gold, and green are definitely Mardi Gras colors.
Personally, I’d go with a cooler color tone like maybe slate or even a darker shade of purple or blue.

Teal is not green. 🙂 I think teal and purple look great together, and with gold. They’re both jewel tones.

I’m aware teal isn’t green. But it IS a very green shade of teal.

I don’t think Gem is green enough to really say Mardi Gras. I have a friend doing a Mardi Gras themed wedding on March 1 and the green we are using for that is GREEN…
I wish they had a different purple available at DB. I went to the store to look at swatches and put the other purples against Regency hoping I could just go with different shades of purple… and they just didn’t go well at all. Slate is an option I hadn’t thought of. Thank you.
@sjhanddab2014: Thanks, I like the idea of jewel tones. I just don’t want it to be too much color either.
