- Wedding: August 2012
For those of you who don’t know, Fiance and I had to reschedule the wedding so that he could complete some additional military training. So, we sent out “Change the Dates” (if you are curious, I posted them) and asked guests to RSVP on the wedding website for the new date (no different than our original invites). However, the Change the Dates went out a week ago and we’ve recieved no RSVPS.
Note that the wedding is still 100 days away, but we needed to send the “Change the Dates” so people wouldn’t show up in May!
When I spoke to one of my guests about it in passing, she said something to the affect of, “We didn’t need to change our RSVP so we didn’t go back to the website.”
Is this what I should expect for the other guests? Do you think more guests will RSVP closer to the event or forget? Should we send a new formal invite?
