So 3 weeks before the big day I’ve decided to change my dress!!!
Ive obviously bought all of my accessories which have an Art Deco feel which I don’t think work now.
The belt the dress comes with is just a piece of ribbon so I’d like to change that. I need help choosing jewellery, hair etc. I’ll also things that will ship fast. I’m in the UK.
Thanks in advance x

amberlu : The dress you bought is quite romantic; a blingy/sparkly belt or sash does not seem compatible. The sash as it is looks perfect. I suggest simple pearl jewelry, and a headband that is just a bit more ornate:

amberlu : what do your existing pieces look like? I think it’s possible you might be able to make it work

The dress has a soft and elegant feel to it. I think a nice pair of earrings and headband instead of a veil would work great with it.
I found these items on etsy. I don’t think you need will need a lot of accessories.

Thanks for the suggestions.
My accessories at the moment are a crystal side tiara, crystal drop earrings and a crystal drop necklace. And my shoes are silver.
I’m thinking that perhaps gold would look better or pearls…I’m not sure if I’m overthinking things and making my life difficult.

amberlu : what are your bridesmaids and groom wearing? what sort of feel of wedding are you going for? That dress is quite versatile, but I think it needs some punch. Have you already got a veil?

This is a second wedding for both of us. We’re having a small wedding with 30 guests but then another 120 guests joining us for an evening reception (UK wedding).
Groom is wearing a navy blue two piece suit and I have one flowergirl and a junior bridesmaid. Flowergirl wearing ivory with navy sash and junior bridesmaid (my daughter) wearing navy lace.
I haven’t bought a veil and I don’t really want one either. I’m not adverse to a birdcage veil but have never tried one on so will probably not bother.

If it were me and my personal style, I would be going for something like this (getting your florist to make it when they make the other flowers). Simple earings, maybe a nice big colored right hand cocktail ring, and closed toe ivory pumps

My dress was sort of similar. I opted for a birdcage veil (got one on etsy for $15), and simple drop pearl earings. My neckline was higher, so I didn’t have necklace.
Also, just wanted to say- I love that dress!! Great choice!
