@countrylove914:  You’re not crazy.  There’s nothing wrong with changing your colors.  I’d be a little concerned about it if you’d already done most of the planning, but since you don’t have anything in your colors yet, they’re not set in stone at all.  I like the deep purple, I think it will be a beautiful bridesmaid’s color.

Pretty dress! It’s not a big thing to change your colours at your point. Go with what works!

So my colors were going to be navy and silver. We went bridesmaid dress shopping and my Maid/Matron of Honor came out in a dress in a fushia color and we all (my mom , me, and mother of my MOH) gasped. That was the color (I love pink). I called my Fiance to get permission to change it to pink and he said yes. So now my colors are Fushia black and white.  It is totally okay to change your colors.

I did something very similar. I wanted mismatched bridesmaid dresses. My family members were going to wear cream/beige/neutral and my girls were going to wear Malibu blue but Malibu blue is such a tough color so we’re switching to everyone wearing the neutral shades and we’ll just pop the malibu blue in other ways.

Hope that provides some reassurance. I think that dress is beautiful.
