I wouldn’t change my dress but if that works for you, who cares? What do you mean is it “too much?”

@aussiebride26:  Yes, I think it will take some time, especially if you have a lace-up back. Have you tried doing your side of the dance in your wedding dress? How is your bustle done up?

I decided to get a second dress for my wedding that was light and dance ready. My ceremony and part reception dress was simply to big and really too hot to dance in. I was so grateful to get out of it and change ready for dancing and fun. I ended up staying in the second dress for the rest of the evening just because it was more comfortable and cooler (I was seriously drenched in my first dress and was relieved to get out of it).

Changing will take up a lot of your time. Time is such a luxury at wedding festivities and it FLIES by!!!!

@aussiebride26:  We’re having a live band too! So I kinda want to see what they can play (and how well they play it) before deciding what to dance to. It’s not till April, so we still have time to decide.

I know this is ages ago, but what did you decide and how did it work out?

I have an option to bustle my dress all the way around to knee length but it will be very expensive and I’m not even sure if it will work.

I already have another dress that I can wear but I really love my gown and want to wear it for as much time as possible, but changing twice feels very strange!
