Hi Bees! I am hoping someone can help me! I bought my parents two frames for their wedding gifts, each has a spot for a vertical 4×6 photo.
Both photos I want to put in the frame from my wedding pictures are horizontal pictures and therefore won’t fit. I have looked everywhere for a way to alter the picture and can’t do it. Can anyone help me, or offer a website or something where I can do this?
I have the pictures on disk from the photographer so I uploaded them on a photo website hoping I could change it and crop it to a vertical picture but no such luck!

@riss519: usuallu if you just open them in your comouters photo veiw it’ll have the option to rotate to photo. Could you upload the photo, I dont think im fully understanding what you are wanting

It totally depends on the proportions of the pic, and how close up it is, you should be able to crop it to a vertical photo if it isn’t too close up and it would work in any basic photo editting program.

Do you have iPhoto or the PC version on your computer? You should be able to edit the photo and crop it into a vertical alignment. I can’t imagine that the photo has some sort of editing lock on it from the photographer… I don’t think that’s possible…

@riss519: Do the frames have easels that they stand up on? Is it possible to display the frame both vertically and horizontally? If not, you’ll have to play around with cropping it to make it fit as a horizontal 4×6 photo.

Can’t you turn the frame sideways?

If you can’t just rotate in your photo editor you can use photoshop to “scale” the sides which is basically stretching the sides of the pictures which hopefully are solid and you wouldn’t notice.

Hi Bees! No I cant rotate the frame because on one side of the frame is writing engraved into and on the other side is a 4*6 vertical opening for a picture. I tried all sorts of googling and using paint on my computer which is windows based and still could not get it!

@riss519: do you have photoshop? Depending on the image itself you the just alter the canvas size to fit the frame. I’m really bad at explaining how to do it, but if your willing, PM me with a message and I would be happy to do it for you!! I have meetings all morning but I can get to it this afternoon.

Easy peasy!! I am attaching it here. The resolution is a little too low though… I’ll PM you with my email address so you could send me a higher res one!
