    Ugh, I’m in the same situation, and I have just totally ignored this dilemma because its such a hassle. Only the government knows my last name is really not my husband’s, and that’s okay with me right now. It’s legit if you change it on Facebook and your email address, right? 🙂

I wanted to know if I can get married first and then transfer my out of state drivers license and get my name changed at the same time and also get my car registered at the same time?     morgan985 :  Hi Morgan. Your situation is similar to mine except we were married in another state. I didn’t have any problems getting my new license  and registration in Alabama a few months after we got married so I don’t think you would have issues either. Welcome to Alabama and Weddingbee!
