(Closed) changing location – how to notify guests?

I think if a card in an envelope will get there, so will a postcard, but maybe I’m wrong?

How many people do you have to notify? Hopefully not too many… In addition to sending out the cards, you could call some of the guests (the ones you know can spread the word to the other guests), so just in case they don’t receive the card, they will still find out somehow. Make a phone tree type thing.

I would also think about doing e-mails/ the FB thing too. With things like this, it is better to be safe than sorry… You don’t want your guests showing up to the wrong venue because they didn’t read their mail or something silly like that.

I agree that it’s better to be safe than sorry. I’d err on the side over over-notification. I’d probably send out postcards to everyone with the new location AND email the guests… and I’d try to make sure somehow that I knew everyone had received and read the message.

Do you have a wedding website? You could put a huge and super obvious notification on the home page of it.
