I’ve always been the girl who had [email protected] as my email address. However, I decided to make the leap today (7 months before the wedding) to make a new email address for my future married name.
I wanted more privacy on WeddingBee, so I needed another email address to register with. Alas, my one email address was already taken. Therefore, it prompted me to create my new married name email address.
It feels kinda weird, It feels kinda new, but all-n-all. . . I like it!
*Grins* Just thought I would share!

yay! I actually just signed up for a new email last week. I’ve always been [email protected]. Unfortunately MyFirstHisLast (and MyFirst.HisLast and HisLastMyFirst and HisLast.MyFirst…. argh common names!!) was already taken. So now it is [email protected]…. but it is so long I”m thinking of abandoning it!

I kept my email address because it is my first initial with the first half of my last name and my birthday. I just changed the display name of the email address because I didnt want to take the time to create a whole new account! I imagine I might change it at some point….but for now I am sticking with the email address Ive had for the past few years!

@CorgiTales: Oh, I completely feel your troubles with the email search! My maiden name and first name combo was unique. However, my new name isn’t unique, so finding a email account that wasn’t already used was tricky. Now I am: [email protected]. It is a mouthful! Whew!
