Hi Bees, I’ve googled this but I can’t seem to find an answer. I’ve been on Triphasil but when I went to the clinic to get new packs they gave me Trigesteral. I’m curious about how to change over because the days differ between the two. I start the red pills of Triphasil on Saturday with the red area starting on Monday (hope this makes sense) but Trigesterals red pills start on Monday and red area on Wednesday? How do I safely move over without messing up the days?

lioness21 : Does the Trigesteral still have 4 red pills? If so, you can ignore the days printed on the pack and just keep taking them as you usually would. They print based on the most commonly started day but that doesn’t mean you HAVE to start on that day. My pack has a Sunday start printed, but I start my pills on a Wednesday. Does that make sense?

hopefulfuturemrs : Hi, I think you meant to ask if the Triphasil still has 4 red pills 🙂 Yes it does, until Tuesday. I wouldn’t have minded starting the Trigestral regardless of the day but I have 4 packs and will probably be getting more after these 4 so I don’t want to confuse myself :(. I actually just started taking the pill, so this Triphasil pack was my first. I’m not taking it to avoid pregnancy because myself and FI arw waiting, I just went on it this early because I was suffering from cramps and irregular periods so I’m taking it to regulate. I was thinking of just carrying on straight from Triphasil to Trigesteral because my red Triphasil pills end on Tuesday and Trigesteral red area starts on Wednesday, it just means that my cycle will be 2 days longer this month which is not a problem because its not like I even have a risk of getting pregnant. What do you think?
And BTW, thank you for being the only Bee who answered, I sincerely appreciate your help!
